Participating in Greencontributor program a few years back inspired me and helped me in my quest to be the entrepreneur that I am today. Keeping in touch with GreenContributor helped me to be part of another amazing program. The environmental program by Greencontributor and the session with Captain Moore was an eye-opener. He took us through the history of how plastics became such a widely used material. He demystified the myths around bioplastics, plastic recycling, biodegradable vs photodegradable materials etc. We are doing so much harm to nature just for our convenience. It opened my eyes to the realities of our world and this experience has pushed me to fight, not only for our earth but for its future also. The trip had in turn manifested itself into my degree few years later and I am now studying law with a particular focus on environmental and international law with the hopes of transforming the world at a legislative level
